It's almost 2012, and people still aren't aware of how shitty paypal is? I only use it for maybe a dozen cheap purchases a year, linked to a disposable Walmart debit card with no balance, and even dread doing that. Never ever ever carry a Paypal balance, or they'll likely steal it at some point, and there's nothing you can do about it. If you sell on Ebay, you will be fucked over sooner or later. If you haven't yet, it's because they're waiting for your balance to peak before they freeze it. Not even going to touch on the ridiculous fees. Paypal is a not-bank without the regulations of real banks and with more (complete) authority over their customers.
The only up-side of Paypal is that banks know they're a scam, so you can easily get free shit just by telling your bank Paypal fucked you and reversing/blocking charges. They never verify because it's usually true, and Paypal doesn't report to the credit bureaus. Only works once, obviously
...so I should buy a private jet with paypal money, and then reject the charge? I like the way you think.
P sure no one selling jets will accept paypal.
I see what you did there...
Well on one hand, because all land on the planet is basically claimed for, seasteading does have a number of pros to offset the cons of implementing it.
On the other hand, the only people who are seriously pursuing it right now are the particularly scary type of libertarians, so yeah.
I would not recommend being an "employee" on the things in the first decade of them going up.
libertarians are scary?
compared to what.. statists? Communists?
