First it loaded up an ad that I couldn't get out of for 7 seconds and then whatever mundane video they have on the page loaded up LOUD AS FUCKING FUCK and I had to close it asap or risk my goddamned eardrums be blown out.

The shooter was in fact the second victim and was not a student, nor was he related to Tech in any way. Apparently he shot himself in a different parking lot, after he had discarded his clothes in a backpack behind a greenhouse.
The search continued just to be safe. People were calling in with reports of gunshots that ended up being things like the trash being taken out, and doors slamming.
