People actually tuned in to watch this?

I care about games, but I won't watch a shitty spike award show. It's like watching the MTV awards if you like movies. You just don't waste your time watching it.

As an avid gamer I feel obligated to watch any award shows and/or conferences relating to video games.

Well, only if they're in streaming form that I can have running in the corner of my desktop. Fuck devoting 100% attention to it.

Couldn't make it through his article. It's ironic because he was arguing how he has little focus, attention span for award shows. However, his writing lacks focus as well. He went on way too many tangents that I, myself, lost focus and gave up 4-5 paragraphs in.

That's honestly why I watched that piece of shit show. Everything on there seemed so damn forced. Was just so....terribad.

It was posted to yt within an hour lol, everyone who didn't put up with the awfulness still got to see it. I still don't get all the shock and awe about how bad it was, Spike is possibly the single worst network on cable outside of the Bravo/TLC reality show garbage, anyone could have told you in advance they don't give a shit about the audiences they supposedly pander to and make shows specifically for idiots.

"The Last of Us" looks fun, and it's a Naughty Dog game, so it should be pretty decent.

I thought the MGS trailer sucked. I prefer the classic MGS over hack and slash. I guess I should have seen it coming with the E3 previews though.

I see it as a combination of The Road and I am Legend. Either way, I am cautiously optimistic. Because the last time I was super excited about a zombie game based on an early trailer, it was Dead Island, which turned out to be quite a disappointment. While I didn't think Dead Island was terrible, and I played it all the way through, it certainly felt like a massive letdown after my initial excitement level. With Naughty Dog involved, that raises my hopes for this one, but I'm worried I end up with the same "Meh" feeling about it.

The main character does look ridiculously like Ellen Parker, but the voice actress was Terra on Teen Titans, and also played Chrissy Seaver on the Growing Pains in the 1980's (LOL). The Last of Us website has all three videos. I haven't seen anything on a release date, did they mention anything on the award show?
