well, beat the game.
Still not sure how to actually fight the Mastifs competently, especially when there's more than 1. Other than swing once or twice then run away like a bitch

Same...I can't get the timing for a perfect block down to perform a counter on them, if that's even possible. I've been averaging out on B's more than A's or S's for every battle on Hard, ugh.

oh, and gamestop code works now.
But it' still costs you BP
20k BP for grey fox suit.
200,000k BP for Fox Blade...

unrelated;
Infinite Wig is pretty lame. Who uses sub items? I didn't use any items except for HP heal and box/barrel.

When you said mastifs, what were you referring to?

Also, only sub items I used were the EMP grenades to save the lives of some civilians when I couldn't get to them fast enough. EMP the soldiers then run over.

edit: Are the mastiffs the gorilla type mobs? Just parry them when they flash red and do a an "offensive-defense(square and X on PS3 and X and A on Xbox)" counter when they flash yellow.

Same thing for all mobs really. Flashing red is parryable, yellow is unparryable.

VR19 is a side-scrolling beat'em all mission where Raiden fights enemies with his fists.In VR 21, you will be able to control the Dwarf Gekko to stun all the cyborg soldiers in the darkness.

Soul Snake Wooden Sword

First DLC is called the 'Soul Snake Wooden Sword'. A special wooden sword infused with the soul of Solid Snake and every time you swing it, you will hear Snake’s voice.

2nd DLC "Play as Sam" / 3rd DLC "Play as LQ-84i, the Bladewolf"

In the second DLC, looks like you will be able to control Sam to against Ray and other cyborgs.In the third DLC, it seems you'll play as LQ-84i, the Bladewolf

Can you backstab Mastiffs? I always seem to get into engagements with them whenever I try to backstab them like everything else.

hmmmm maybe. It's really short. I beat it in 5.5 hours the first time, but immediately started another playthrough. But on Hard, the game is still barely a challenge and there isn't much to the combat so I'm not sure just how much more playability there will be.
I haven't really tried any of the VR stuff yet though.

Yeah, I'm on the fence about it being day 1. It's fun and the AI can be smart and challenging, but it's also noticeably a fuck ton of mashing the X/Square button for almost everything.

God, these 1-hit kill sections on the last boss on hard are so fucking annoying.

also unrelated; Nice to see that from normal to hard, some bosses have new/extra moves. Though the only bosses I've noticed use new attacks is Mistral and the last boss. Maybe other bosses had them, but the dog and sundowner barely got to show me any of their moves before being totally destroyed.

data storage, left arms and the M.I.B. all keep the same count through your multiple playthroughs. data storage are just replaced with BP items in your next playthroughs.

Just beat the game on hard. huzzah.
