It reminded me of a song/music video where are the girls had the same dude's face. Googling it got Aphex Twin's Windowlicker which I think is right. But this picture wasn't in it.

Anyway, the point is I saw the damned thing about 6 years ago, so now I'm all sorts of confused.

Not quite that bad, but I did buy some small heatsinks that are meant for a chipset to put on my RT-N16 and mounted a fan on it as I overclocked my router... 532mhz cpu in a router FUCK YEA!

Yes, Linksys overclocks out of the box on purpose to kill the unit quicker over time. Sounds stupid but it works wonders when your warranty is gone and the typical user goes back out to buy a new one.

Also DDWRT on certain/older Linksys models didn't allow throttling/underclock to stop the unit from killing itself over time.

My router is a NAS, and runs quite a few custom scripts for DD-WRT, saw a huge performance difference when doing file transfers.
