those were considered canon and was in spec to be turned into the live action TV series at one point, its different now
it is considered for a new series after the clone wars runs out of story though

I agree, they should have gone for more quality not quantity, but the EU book sales were fantastic for most of its run, which is why there was another set of movies (which left us disappointed a little)

yes, the thrawn trilogy, the best 3 books in the EU. they would be the best movies imo

Its from PSM iirc. I still have the issue somewhere. "Video Game Girls of Summer" was the name of this spread I think.

Yes and no. The fondant that forms all the details on the exterior is 'edible' only in the same sense that talcum powder is edible. The flavor and texture are pretty nasty and generally speaking you'd remove it from the otherwise perfectly tasty cake underneath it.

girlfriend watches a lot of cake boss and it's one of those things you never look into but always looks cool, then when you find out more about it, it turns out to be completely different and terrible and disappointing. I'd be willing to bet that a significant portion of those cakes are inedible or terrible tasting, and that most of the cakes are only bought through the guy's shop because it'll be on TV, rather than having anything to do with needing a cake for an actual function.

This beautiful cake was created for the hungry patrons at the Arisia Sci-Fi Convention in Boston, MA. The stormtrooper stands at 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighed at least 300 lbs, and fed nearly 600 hungry conventioneers!

The building of the Stormtrooper cake was an epic event in and of itself. It took our entire wonderful crew of ten people two full weeks of to put this guy together (although the cake wasn’t added until 2 days before it was to be served). Along the way we even had to invent completely new cake making methods so it could be put together modularly onsite, hold its fondant over long vertical stretches, and stand on two beautifully sculpted Rice Kripsy legs that supported his 300 lb body –all while keeping every bit of cake tasting light, fluffy, and delicious!

It was a challenge to say the least, but we’re all incredibly proud, as we think it is perhaps the greatest sculpted cake ever created. A bold statement for sure, but we think think that the photos speak for themselves.
