This is a Scrooge McDuck comic written in the 1950s. If you are bored and feel like reading it, try and work out which recent modern day movie ripped all it's main plot point from this comic. It's pretty obvious after the first few pages

I think your dates are a bit off ^^; Quoting Wiki:

Scrooge was created as a comic book character, first appearing in the 1947 Four Color story "Christmas on Bear Mountain" (#178 ). Initially a supporting character in Donald Duck stories, he soon became a major figure of the Duck universe. In 1952 he was given his own comic book series, called Uncle Scrooge, which still runs today.

Still interesting to see the parallels.

The artwork's by Don Rosa who wasn't a prominent Duck artist till the 80s so a quick wiki search for him brought this up...

It's from 2002. But it's true, if you started really reading into them you'd find a lot of plot similarities from older Donald Duck comics in today's films, it's kind of inevitable if the film maker read a lot of comics as a kid.
