Like I said before, I ran out of anima pretty damn fast simply doing quests (which is the only thing I find remotely interesting in FFXIV). While I could have been more conservative on the teleport, I still ended up spending a fuckton of time on the road, and wasting more time walking/riding is definitively not something I was willing to do.
Would it be so gamebreaking to give us unlimited anima? All it does is prevent me from doing quests (and guildleve now that I'm out completely). In the end, it will force me out of the game for a few weeks, which usually end with me not coming back for another 3-4 months. SquareEnix has nothing to gain from this system for the same reason they had nothing to gain from a fatigue system.

Anima either hold you back or they don't, and when they do, it just mean you're spending more time on the road. Unless someone can explain me how SE benefit from this, I'm going to keep saying that anima are retarded.
Or maybe I'm used to play videogames where traveling is much faster than FFXIV. Obviously, people who are still playing since launch are probably able to endure it just fine, but when 2.0 will hit, it's going to turn off many who were hoping to see a game with better pace.
I dare you to clock how much time you spend passively running around in this game (chocobo or not), especially while questing. Unless you're stuck in a grinding routine of repeating the same guildleve/fight, it's going to be a lot.
