For the backseat drivers. A little later than expected cause I've been swamped with work so meeehhh. Enjoy.
^ They do plan on implementing a "visited" tracker at some point (and other progress bars I believe), but for now I believe you can check your map for the region. If one aether isn't selectable you don't have it.
I know it was asked previously but I can't seem to find it - what's the name of the font again?
I might have missed it (skimmed around), but you forgot the most important aspect. Monster placements and balances make this game playable solo and considerably reduce the frustration due to "bullshit death".
Nanawa mine is a great example of how much bullshit they removed. There isnt a single aggro in the path anymore, no room filled with Gnats or other retarded that made soloing impossible in certain zone.
I havent died a single times during any of the 30 leves I finished (+/- 3 levels), and all of them could be completed within 5-10 minutes.
You should make a trip over there as well since you never have anything useful or true to say.
Actually haven't noticed that. Been avoiding Nanawa like the plague for that very reason.. lol
But if theres anything major that I missed it was Dark Moogle battle. Mostly because I still haven't cleared Ifrit. ;/
I don't get Company leves. You initiate it, defend the npc from 5 monsters over 15 minutes and win. That was very bad xp/leves and company seals, and the opposite of fun. I would rather just do a normal one than grind these seals.
Nanawa mines was the first place I notice (did a leve right before and after the update), but there was change in other area like the cellar in North shroud (can't remember the freaking name). Navigating in indoor area seemed a lot easier in overall.
They still need to fix bullshit mob placement outside (make it more obvious where you can go, and where you will get hit for 9999), but I'm gonna assume it will change with 2.0.
I will give them credit for these changes. Not killing me once during guildleve made the experience much more enjoyable.
That's true, but I'm out of seals after all promotions and the only other place I can get them is completing Darkhold quest (yeah, still haven't done that). After that it's either supply/provision which is not free, escort which you need people for if it's to be worthwhile, or leve which I can do whenever I want and w/o limits. And it's not like normal leve are any more fun.
Agreed on those company leves. That is the most boring shit ever. I kinda wish the supply/provisional stuff had a higher cap or updated way more often.
Yeah, I love those "kill shit for 15 minutes" because +50% exp on each kill is pretty solid exp for the time spent. I don't have much to say about the seal rewards as everything other than provisioning/supply seems like a complete waste of time if your goal is seals.
