I want to make fake polls for fox news. Because that poll is fake as hell. There is no source listed, no margin of error displayed, and Bachmann is no where close to 28%. That shit is clearly just made up.

I think it's supposed to be the support by self identified Tea Partiers for those candidates. I think what's misleading is them choosing to show a "popularity among Tea Partiers" poll instead of a "popularity among everyone" poll to trick people about the candidates' numbers. Though I guess the poll itself could be fake too.

Poll is probably real, but deliberately targeted among Bachmann/Gingrich/Romney supporters. What I find disturbing is that even the left-wing news networks are doing the same. It's too bad Daily Show/Colbert Report is on break this week, they would have probably been the only 'mainstream' network to cover it. :/

I'll seriously laugh if Paul gets the nomination just because he gets the nomination and then the Repubs go "lol no Gingrich won look at the polls".

Then, and hopefully finally then, will people go "FUCK YOU GOVERNMENT ASSHOLES".

And we criticize Putin and Amenidenijenijavimavidad for "fixing" elections.

Can't they straight up do that anyway? The polls indicate who the people want, but the party does have the final say in the matter. And in this situation, they'll probably just be like "lol fuck you Paul".

Is that how it works? I don't follow the Republican crazy shit too much. I always just assumed that because the people wanted a candidate that it was who they got. Isn't that how we got Obama? He only edged out Hillary, it's not like he smashed her face into the ground.

I'm fairly certain the way it works is that the primaries are essentially the biggest poll you can have, so that the parties can make their choice of candidate. But since the parties aren't an actual government thing, they don't have to strictly follow democracy.
