Or that if Paul won Iowa that Iowa should be ignored because they don't represent the rest of the party.

So what is the point of this thread? To get people to see how great of a candidate Ron Paul is? (Even though he isn't)
If does get the nomination and if he does win the election next year, do you think his job will be any easier than what Obama is going through? If the Republicans already don't like him, don't you think they'll be as vindictive as possible to make him seem awful as a President, dare I say, even worse than they're making President Obama out to be?
I think that people seriously overestimate the power of the President when it comes to things.
there's only 2 reason (to a paultard) that you won't vote for st. paul
1) you don't understand ronnie's position
2) you understand it and are against it, therefore you are anti-democracy.
meanwhile they ignore that he's running as a pro-life (not a libertarian) candidate in Iowa
id like to see a breakdown of which of ronnie's crazy ideas could actually be realized versus those that are just fantasy (congress wouldn't go for it)
i'd bet that all those social issues that rational people like are in the fantasy category, meanwhile every corporate regulation gets blown away and we live the rand fantasy.
Ron Paul will veto every bill he think is unconstitutional, not be preassured to bomb Iran and promote peace and trade amongs nations. I bet israel would be much more open to peace with its neighbours if they suddenly realized the US would'nt have their back for all the shit they do.
Peace and love

2.6 Monopolies and Corporations We defend the right of individuals to form corporations, cooperatives and other types of companies based on voluntary association. We seek to divest government of all functions that can be provided by non-governmental organizations or private individuals. We oppose government subsidies to business, labor, or any other special interest. Industries should be governed by free markets.
Libertarians believe monopolies/duopolies/etc should be let be.
But they also believe monopolies and such only happen because of government intervention. You see, the reasoning is circular.
Fucking brilliant.
I mean, I'm pretty weak when it comes to my knowledge of economics; but FREE MARKET UBER ALLES is probably the most ridiculous economic policy imaginable.
Its going to be another close race. It usually always is whenever a democrat that isn't Bill Clinton is "poised" to win a re-election. Its not so much underestimating republican candidates, its underestimating the sheer stupidity of the average white male and the deviousness of those who control the polls in tight race areas. I'm sure we'll all hear another round of stories about how "polling areas" were calling poor black neighborhoods, telling them that the voting days were being postponed to the following week.
I'm not even voting for him, but I've gotta say, this was a pretty bad ass advert imo.
It's a good ad
except the chinese can kill/torture/occupy the fuck out of texas all they like for all i care
Probably the thing I agree with the most with RP, if the only thing. Fuck that ad was pretty damn good though.
