Does Ron Paul believe i should get two or three meatballs from olive garden when i order the spaghetti and meatballs? Got two tonite. This will not stand.
Did he just post the exact same video twice?
Ron Paul most likely will not win, but I do hope he gets people to reconsider our present foreign policy. I hope he changes the Republican party somewhat at a grassroots level. That is the best thing I could say about him, in the wake of all the dirt.
Agreed, reconsidering our foreign policy (and the drug war) are the best things he could bring to the table, which is why I hope he wins the republican nomination.
I don't think it's possible to get the Republican party to reconsider foreign policy, at least not unless you mean some form of isolationism motivated by xenophobia, which is what paleoconservatives already do.
Not the party. The people. Just get them thinking and open to new ideas. Paul has too many wacky ideas but some of his views can be looked on tangentially, apart from his persona, and in that way make room for better, more well-rounded prospects.
The fun thing about isolationism and xenophobia, is that it's not just expressed outwards. It also means "eliminating" all those foreign agents or perceived foreign agents from the home country.
But i never did like basing policy on ultra nationalism and racism, how about you?
Now that's the spirit.
Any of the Paultards or otherwise have an opinion on the actual Libertarian candidate for president, Gary Johnson? (The former governor of New Mexico) - The pro-gay marriage, anti-drug war, pro-choice, anti-interventionalist foreign policy candidate?
lol
First thing on the chopping block is PR
I was a fan of his a while ago, even had a avatar that supported him on these forums about a year ago. But after listening to him in some interviews it's clear that he would never have a chance and that he just whines way too much. His policies may be good, but there's more to being a President than just good ideas.
I think Plow's thinking of Puerto Rico.
That scene in Bad Boys 2 where Morgan Freeman and Eddie Griffin broke outta Guantanamo Bay in Hummers was the best thing about Puerto Rico.
