i was wtfing because apparently you take making fun of a crazy old man personally. My comment had nothing to do with the video, just the 7% he managed in florida after we had a few people here saying how RP had such a good chance and could totally take the nomination
It would be very interesting to see how the US manages without cutting spending for the next 20 years.
I love Obamas continuation of Bush Policies. I love how he has killed more Terrorists in 3 years than Bush did in 8. I love the Drone strikes were the men and women of our military stay out of harms way. I love how He doesn't bend to his base and give in Palestinian demands until they earn it. lets see.. I just love his foreign policy and how it trolls social liberals to the point they would vote for someone who would be a terrible president because of it.
What has Obama done differently w/ regards to the I-P issue? I don't know who you think his base constitutes but it sure as hell is not Palestinian or Arab-Americans or Muslims.
In fact, Israel has repeatedly embarrassed Obama and his administration by continuing settlement activity. (See: 'As Biden Visits, Israel Unveils Plan for New Settlements' - The New York Times)
Even the Bush administration expressed their frustration w/ the Israeli (see: Condi Rice's memoirs) intransigence:
I think any true progressive will find fault w/ American foreign policy in general. It is not specific to any one president. Obama is not a big step ahead or behind Bush or any other American president since Reagan.Considering that she served the friendliest administration the Israelis will probably ever see, it’s instructive to compare her complaints about Israeli trickiness and maneuvering to those that have seeped out of the embattled Obama White House. Israel was a close ally and a democracy but its leaders were “sometimes a nightmare to deal with”; they had to be warned not to lobby Congress; in any conversation “there was a ‘but’”; they “always seem to overreach”; getting the Israelis “to actually carry through on promises relating to the Palestinians” was a continuing frustration, particularly promises involving Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
In fact, our foreign policy in the ME is no different than our foreign policy in other parts of the world (Latin America is one I know enough to talk about).
He was being sarcastic.
By "his base", he means liberals in the US. As in, he doesn't listen to his liberal base.
How is he being sarcastic if he says the drone attacks keep our soldiers out of harms way?
That's actually a true statement.
He's also implying that people critical of Obama's foreign policy are willing to vote for RP since RP is anti-war (but with the caveat that his other policies suck).
Some parts of his post are sarcastic, elvis. Rhinox is a liberal, and he's pro-palestinian. He is not a fan of Obama.
two idiots enter the ring armed with sarcasm and extremism, neither exits.
His reply doesn't make sense because one sentence is sarcastic and the next is not.
He forgot to do his typical Rhinox-style posting twice in a row with two different answers and just combined them into 1.
Actually kuya is right. I just find it hilariously annoying how defensive Elvis gets about Palestine and how incredibly short sided he becomes when defending Ron Paul.
Also who is this maz guy and why is it mentioning me?
ron paul sweet
Do you know everyone who mentions you on these forums on a personal basis or is that supposed to annoy me?
Its supposed to annoy you.
Wasn't Rhinox the guy who made solanis mad by referring to him as an 'it'?
