Don't look at me. His views on creationism are hardly the only reason I wouldn't vote for him.
The states have been doing a fine job of tearing this nation down from the inside already. Giving them more power is just asking for every Red state to legalize lynch mobs so long as the lynchers have a sincere moral or religious conviction behind their actions.
Shit, the Texas state house doesn't even have their reps vote on their own shit. Whoever's in the room just casts votes for every desk they can sprint to. Corruption at the state level is rampant, under-reported, and under-enforced. No one cares enough about the state level to put a stop to it, either. Giving these fucks more power is just asking for trouble.
How is that a gotcha statement...?
While this makes sense, I believe you're forgetting something. The vast majority of presidents have believed in Jesus (who does magic), when it is also scientifically proven that his miracles couldn't have happened. So most of them have believed in a magician who rises from the dead and is the son of God but is also God and we eat him every Sunday, yet they have still managed to not wipe the United States off the face of the planet and have made a lot of rational decisions over the past 200 years. Faith does not always mean they can't solve problems or think critically, just that they've had something driven into their heads for hundreds of years by people who love them and aren't willing to let that go.
Elvis we get it you support Ron Paul because hes the only non zionist militant christian in the field.
Demos is saying that it is impossible for an onmipotent, all-powerful being to have created humans from nothing and also implanted the fossil record, DNA, etc. etc. etc. with misleading evidence to the contrary.
Basically the thing is this Demos - when you believe in God, all kinds of crazy shit become possible, and "scientific evidence" becomes relatively meaningless when there's a puppetmaster out there, undetectable and perfect, who can do whatever the fuck he wants.
You put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig.
Because it is shallow and intellectually dishonest. I can't vouch for him on the economy because simply put, I don't know enough.
But on foreign policy, he has made some points in debates that no other candidates have. Those other guys don't do it because they are too chicken-shit. Or maybe they sincerely think every single person who is anti-American really does hate us because we're so great.
Duh, but I can't vouch for him. It would be irresponsible to vote for the guy solely because he isn't a shill for Israel. The economy doesn't affect me but I won't vote for someone who is going to fuck people over, even if he/she is going to stop the wars. However, I think those two things are intertwined anyway.
Obama's a creationist?
Well the great thing about the whole Jesus thing, is we have no idea what happened. We don't know exactly when he lived, where, who was with him, etc. It's all here-say of what actually did happen - I really don't compare it to creationism, where we know almost exactly what has happened in the last 4.6 billions years.
Arguing against creationism, Israel receives biggest check in history.jpg
