So where drops items for relic+2? I remember ppl where confused between them and some other items (hq geode?) because both were "." on test server?

For the Limit Break quest just go BSTx6 SMNx6 or some mix and match. Its a joke with pet jobs.
I'm not sure how people aren't having trouble with PLD. The guy can use WSes back-to-back-to-back and with no Ochain this can one shot you. When I tanked it, Asuran did about 700 and Victory Smite did over 1,200, and both happened so fast I never saw my HP bar stop going down between the two WSes.
^ We tried that and it worked great until Hundred Fists. It raped the pets almost instantly (given a couple of our BSTs didn't bring Dawn Mulsums, so that would help).
The Avatar-ites also drop off of Abyssea mobs. Particularly the Dom Ops dolls in Altepa.
So on that topic of AF2+2 augmented.
I'm assuming that once your item is augmented, you wont be able to store them anymore? (Unless you want to lose your augment)
To which, I say, Really, SE? You don't think you've added enough job specific gear to fuck up everyone's inventory space already? Would it have been that hard to create a +3 version, with the stats on them, so they're storable? Are you running out of space for adding items? IF SO, MAYBE YOU SHOULD COOL OFF WITH JOB SPECIFIC GEAR.
Or give us a few more 80 slot inventories to hold all this shit.
/rant over, sorry, but it needs to be said. And completely invalid if they somehow added a flag to the new slips, so you can store both augmented and unaugmented, so the moogle can tell the difference between them, but I doubt that.
edit: Aaaaaaaaactually.
You said that you had to brute force the trial numbers for this, yes? Then that means they're not startable yet, right? As in, if you upgrade your af2 to +2, there is no "next trial", even though the trial numbers are technically there?
Maybe they'll add a +3 or something when they implement this, I assume with the rest of the trials they haven't added.
You can get a Cure V in between those weaponskills if you're on the ball, although expecting at least one death per fight isn't unreasonable. All your melee just need to be prepared to tank. I tanked two fights on MNK full timing Twilight Torque/Dark Rings/Merman's Earringx1/Arhat's Gi+1 and using some defense food. I used PLD subjob (the idea was to have Sentinel handy but I was too busy paying attention on my WHM character to use it effectively. BLU sub for Cocoon would have probably been more useful.) Also I lied earlier about using SCH, we had RDM/SCH.
Either get a SMN for PD and zerg it with hasty 1-handers or have everyone turtle and be fast with cures.
Forgotten XXXXX from Dyna. Putting together info from various testimonials I've seen (not sure how reliable it is):
Forgotten Thoughts (head): Beauc
Forgotten Hopes (body): Xarc
Forgotten Touches (hands): Jueno/Valkurm
Forgotten Journey (legs): Jueno/Qufim
Forgotten Steps (feet): Jueno/Bubu
Forgotten Touches is a pervy name for an item

I personally didnt use any Etas or Dawns. last 10% ish got pretty hectic but we won.^ We tried that and it worked great until Hundred Fists. It raped the pets almost instantly (given a couple of our BSTs didn't bring Dawn Mulsums, so that would help).
2 of the other Bsts traded their dawns back to me, meaning they ddidnt use them either. all used Slug pet. Pup used Valor with constant 3 earth mannys up (he's got mythic so almost impossible to overload lol)
I used PLd/blu with Ochain. No WS exceeded 300.
nvm need to refres paege afster lol
/highfive
so when does evasion and dagger cap when you're 99? <_<
A- Skills cap at 417. Sword capped there for BLU anyway.
I was part of two successful groups tonight. The first group used a THF/NIN-heavy setup with WHM and Auspice up to Subtle Blow-burn it. He hardly WS'd. One of the THF's got 1-shotted with a lucky Asuran, but we killed it easily.
The second group was a MNK-heavy setup with SMN, BLU, SCH, and MNKs. SMN uses Perfect Defense and SCH 2-hours/Embravas RIGHT OFF the bat. Proceed to tear it down to 40% ish or lower till PD wears. Once it wears, use Item, BLU and SMN stuns it to keep it from running around. Kill it easily from 40-0 since its DEF is weakened. I was the SMN and at the time did not realize he had a dmg cap that Enspells can add to, so I didn't use Ifrit's Enfire. If I had, the fight would have been even more of a joke.
I helped 2 more ls mates with this fight, only 2 losses were my first two (total 4/6). A pld with a good turtle set + a good whm makes him very managable but still funky stuff can happen. a smn giving enfire from ifrit or sch or /sch to give some en spell to 1 hand jobs really ups your damage if you don't have a tail.
Getting a tail really does make the fight easy (I can also confirm that it removes his damage cap, but he still keeps his insane regain). For that fight we waited until about 40%, he popped 2hour, we used the tail and waited him out (he ran around for exactly 60 seconds). HF wore we came in and I did a 2k+ ukko's to him so yea. Tail = win.
Other than that, as previously mentioned, shadowbind or CS + stun works for HF as well. All enfeebles land on him relatively easily, sudden lunge works a bit but duration starts to suck pretty fast so don't rely on it too much. I haven't tried a pet job run or manaburn but I can see why people say that they are so effective, but again a tail makes him much easier.
dumb post, Edited.
I can confirm Forgotten Thoughts drops from Glacier.
