Daily reward system: Potential versus actual?

You get 50 points a day, or at least, 50 points when starting. The extra three should be from the talisman that you traded.

Okay, when you talk to the goblin, you can choose to get an item from the box, and spin one of five dials (Dial 1, Dial 2, etc.) Each dial is it's number * 10 in points, so 40 points for dial 4. When you start the daily system, and potentially every day after, you get 50 points from the goblin. You can also trade currently unknown "rare" items to him to gain up to an extra 10 points a day.
One of the options the goblin has is to know what you may have gotten (Unknown if that's what could have been if you'd chosen an item instead of looking inside the box, or if the goblin is just messing with us), but he'll normally list two common items, such as echo drops, and one sweet item like an HNM pop, or a scroll, or a Novio earring, or an attatchment.
That's pretty much all I've learned so far, hopefully the goblin stays true to his word, and we can get some sweet items.

Random stuff: If you choose one of the dials and then you get the "come back after sorting your inventory" message, when you talk to him again he will then give you the item and then deduct your points.

Guess I was wrong on Abyssea pops not being one of the rare items he takes. I traded Briarius NMs pop items, Trophy Shield, Sock and Armband. Maybe Visions zone pops don't work but Heroes does? I'll have to check later.
