Well to be fair this was an extremely major exploit. Though IIRC the bats would stay dead if killed once. The bat I killed ages ago in port jeuno is still dead.

I love how when theres a negative exploit (even though this has existed for all eternity I presume), SE is all over that shit like white on rice. But when theres an exploit that affects the players negatively, "oh we'll look to patch it as soon as possible, after we *insert random japan stereotypical action*".

Quite easy to have abused this and not gotten in any trouble. Do it on a free trial account and distribute the gil items to multiple people via bazaar.

No way or they have stopped all the rmt activity in the game years and year ago. Its basically pretty easy as long as you don't communicate in game about shit lol. If they just banned peeps from buying crap in bazaars no one be left to play the game. How am I to know that was a duped novio I just brought it from a bazaar that has no links to me lol.
