How fast does the 'Daily' points regen and how many you get per 'regen'

Pretty sure its 10 points per day and then if you actually want to build on top of it you have to go turn items in or something. I think you can only get 10 extra points per day though.

Dial 40 - Super Ether +2. Refused to take another AF+1 item, I traded one 5 days ago for 10 points.

Could it be that after trading a 10 point item, you can't trade another item until 10 days pass?
That way it evens out to an extra 1 point per day?

Wouldn't take designated item which I never traded before. So I doubt it has anything to do with taking similar item again the next day or after period of time. I think this thing is bugged.
