If anyone has a mule they don't give a shit about and would like to test if this is a major exploit, go load allseeingeye by the goblin and kill the bat NPCs that appear. I have a feeling they drop the items he can give. I did this in port jeuno on a mule with the bats named after the promys and got some random ass item before.

I always heard from WoW people that dailies were awesome. Spend x amount of time getting x amount of points so you get obtain x item. So instead of working towards a goal to get something I know im going to get, I get a chance to get a 500g item? Awesome. Im not going to waste my time at yet another soon to be failure random event where there might be a slim chance to get an expensive item. I would rather do dailies for one year straight working towards a good iteam. It would be long, but I would know id acually get it.

I thought this was going to be a nice idea, something I could do solo and work my way up to get a decent item. A solo friendly assualt more or less.

Because talking to an NPC for 5 seconds = doing something that takes 30~60mins which accrues towards something rewarding.

Why would I want to log in to do something that takes 5 seconds that I have 0 chance at getting a good item, when I could be doing some sort of fun solo quest/fight/game/thing that builds me up to a good item.

Because you do have a chance at getting a good item and if you dont see something you want you can wait until the next game day to see what you could win again. I mean, its pretty cool if you're crafting or doing something where you need to be around jeuno a lot. If you have the points saved up you could be in for a treat? :3

Its a little corny daily reward system. I only expected something as small and corny as this tbh. I didn't expect them to go out of there way to make it too elaborate since the point of it in the first place was to have a chance of getting something cool with minimal effort. Otherwise it would have been called "Super duper get your dick sucked goblin labyrinth" or some stupid shit.

Noone said you have to specifically log in to do anything about it. Points build up themselves while you do something else (work towards your big item in Abyssea w/e) when you get a minute of down time, run to NPC and open box for a whole of 5 minutes of your precious time. You have to be seriously retarded to complain about free shit.
