It would be interesting to track all of the rewards people get and get some odds figured out, but this is 2011. Any of us can make enough money to buy those items just by going afk in a abyssea party.... which coincidentally, is also the reason it's petty to complain about it.

Anyways some questions and some findings:

Is that a rl day you can trade more in (at least once they fix it)?

Is there a cap on how much points you can accumulate?

Does wearing a gob mask help or change the peeks like he sorta suggest?

Findings:

So I spammed peek for a good hour or so. Lots of repeats this is what I have so far for the "good" item. All T4 nukes. Phalanx. Novia/Novio earring. T4 ZNM pops. NQ ground king pops. Random pup attachments. Brigands/pirates chart. Lik, gugrusaurus and my favorite creel of moat carp

Yeah that's why I mentioned on a mule or character you don't care about. Clearly an easy way to get banned etc.
Also you can kill them, and possibly many more NPCs that are normally untargetable. You have to used a ranged attack or magic, like an abyssea box though.

Anyways do you have to talk to him at all to start accumulating points or does it start automatically. I've barely logged in since the update and I wanna know if I need to go talk to this stupid shit just so I can ignore it for a month.

EDIT: For the record I know the Kannagi thing was fake I just don't understand why it's funny. Don't see the humor in it.

Guy did get a Kannagi a couple days back according to his history, but overall I'm guessing a shoop. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a very small chance to get an 85 with the 50 point option (like 0.001%), but this is SE we're talking about. Anyway, also wondering if you have to visit the gob daily to get the 10 freebie points.
