https://geektyrant.com/news/2012/8/1...ndables-3.htmlThe Expendable 2 hasn't even been released in theaters yet, but it's not really surprising to hear that producer Avi Lerner is already prepping up for the third film in the franchise. I think we all expected that to happen. What we didn't expect was who might end up being in it! They've approached some more incredible big name actors to join the production!
Lerner has revealed that they've already talked to Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, Nicolas Cage and Wesley Snipes about being in The Expendables 3! Here's what he told Total Film in a recent interview,
We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we’ve got a character in mind for him. We’re talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I’ll give you one more name, we’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters]. And we’re going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he won’t be too crazy. I like Mickey. And of course, all the existing stars [will return].

Loved the inside-jokes type of thing they did. Terry telling Arnold that he wants his gun back by the end of the day or he's terminated and the last thing you'd eat before you died was funny. Van Damme's character made me realize just how old the guy is now. He can still do them kicks though. Arnold said a lot of "I'm back!", but they didn't milk him by saying it much.
First movie was garbage. I loved every second of this movie, cheesy one liners and all.
Just got back from watching it. The movie could have ended after their introduction mission and I would have felt I got my money's worth. Great movie, probably gonna see it again over the weekend.
Norris's character in this is about what I expected him to be like in this. Every time he showed up past his introduction that texas ranger, I think, whistle sound would play lol
http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118058008Just as "The Expendables 2" explodes into theaters, Adi Shankar's banner 1984 Private Defense Contractors has tapped Dutch Southern to write an all-female riff on the star-studded action franchise.
Shankar ("The Grey") will produce for 1984 Private Defense Contractors, which plans to fully finance the "Expendables"-inspired project. Company is already in talks with several prominent actresses affiliated with the action genre.
2012 has been a banner year for female-driven actioners like "The Hunger Games," "Snow White and the Huntsman" and the Gina Carano-toplined "Haywire."
Shankar's shingle recently co-financed Joe Carnahan's "The Grey," Marc Forster's "Machine Gun Preacher" and Andrew Dominik's upcoming Brad Pitt-starrer "Killing Them Softly," as well as Allen Hughes' thriller "Broken City," which pairs Mark Wahlberg with Russell Crowe.
Southern has a history with 1984 Private Defense Contractors, as back in April 2011, the company acquired his 2010 Black List script "Hoof Harrington's Greatest Hits," the story of a semi-retired hitman that has been described as "'Die Hard' by way of Wes Anderson."
THIS MOVIE SHOULD BE RATED M FOR MANLY.
So much fun. Go see this shit. If you hated it you got some bad fuckin taste in films.

Amazing for what it's suppose to be. Go in expecting a fuckton of one-liners and gunsplosions and get to leave happy.
My only gripe?
