Well, he did specify American bars. Which usually don't carry quality beer in the first place. But most will usually have 1-2 beers that are decent like he said. But, I don't think Stella is ever worth buying.... EVER.

I don't know where you live, but I can tell you don't live in the Pacific Northwest. I have literally never been to a bar in Washington or Oregon that does not have a good beer, and I've been of legal drinking age for 15 years. Most of them have far more good beers than shitty beers, even in shitty college bars and deepwoods redneck bars.

It's just, apparently since I'm 22 I'm not allowed to drink. /sarcasm
I eventually got through after 37 times of calling back, one of the customer reps answered and acted like he didn't know what "Chalice" I was talking about. He put me on hold and eventually a answering machine came on and said "This call has ended" (it was more like a "ending machine" if you ask me.) Maybe he just got in to work and didn't know what was going on?

I'm still trying.

*Something to note: One of the times I called I pressed "22" frantically after just being frustrated. The automated voice started saying "Press 23 to return to the main menu. Press 24 to be placed on hold. Press 25 to etc. etc." I thought it was weird but I obviously pressed "24." I was as on hold for about 15mins before it took me back to the main menu - I felt used.

Raleigh, NC. I don't really go to any "American" bars. Everywhere I go usually has higher quality beers that I normally drink(Harp, Smithwicks, Black and Tan, Bass, Guinness, etc.)

What do you mean? I'd say 99% of bars have at least one microbrew you'll like. I've been to a lot of bars, and not one didn't have microbrews. Even freeway truckstops with three beers on tap, bud, bud light and a microbrew.

Granted, you're not going to like all microbrews, but there's a billion of them for variety and you're bound to like some of them.

The "Chalice" is a novelty item. By TABC code any novelty item given to a consumer by a beer distributor for free must have a manufacturer's regularly published wholesale price of less than $1.00. TABC is a out-dated, mismanaged group of morons, and I keep hoping the state senate will finally get rid of them. At least their budget was cut a ton this past year, so they aren't out at night nearly as much as they use to be.
