rofl wow. Its so ironic, seeing as all the CFAs around here are all about customer service.
How could you blame him? He didn't understand a name that sounded like 'ching chong me love you long time.'
First of all, I remember when this story broke, and I realized I've been to that Chick-Fil-A before. In fact, depending upon the route I take to work, I pass it by every other day or so.
It doesn't surprise me that something racist came out of there, and not simply because it's Chick-Fil-A; college campus presence aside, that area is Rich Whitey Land, surrounded by affluent businesses, developments with multiple-story houses, and scenic expanses of land. The streets are wide and well-kept, the conservatives are everywhere, and the entitlement is rich. Racism? Not surprising in any way whatsoever.
Now, statistically (and yes, there are statistics for this, apparently), Orange County is one of the least racist areas in Southern California. I imagine this is due to the fact that there's no one to be racist against, as white people are everywhere, and people of any other race are either restricted to segregation (Little Saigon, Santa Ana), working at night (Mexicans), and so on. Seriously, outside of places like the aforementioned campus, shit is virtually as bleached as can be.
Leaving California altogether and moving on to the Papa John's matter, who the fuck is going to go to Papa John's in New York? Are you fucking insane? Fuck you. If I'm in fucking New York I'm going to get some fucking New York pizza, not some nationwide chain bullshit.
Pretty sure the guy was just trying to be funny and get his name heard, since by now people are going "har har dat be funnay i do dat tew".
