Only part I really remember was the kid putting the tree bark over his head in attempt to be taller than the hyena. Hilarity ensued when the tree bark broke in half.

i was also one of those people who was "bored" in school. i don't think this makes me a fucking genius. i think it means the manner in which shit was taught was just really fucking boring.

i also stopped doing the homework and whatnot, and still did well on tests. i suspect the vast majority of people probably do not need to repeat the same shit 100+ times in order to "get it." homework is not a necessary step for most in terms of learning. you get more than enough practice in class, where you know, you spend at least an hour every single fucking day practicing the same thing.

i sincerely doubt anyone who says they didn't even show up 60+% and still magically passed everything with flying colors is full of shit, though. i had some home circumstances that kept me out of school a great deal of the time, and in some subjects, i actually did fall behind because i legit missed the days where the foundation of that subject was taught. that shit is luck of the draw. perhaps if you got your basis for math or physics or chemistry or whatever before you stopped attending school, then you had enough to go on that shit worked out for you. i'm here to tell you though, if you missed that shit, it didn't matter one iota how smart you are. you can't just magically pull answers out of nothing if you've never even looked at any of the material that's been taught. i think some of these people are perhaps, to some degree, overstating. they either got some worthwhile education before they stopped attending, or they acquired that knowledge in an environment outside school. picking things up quickly and just magically knowing everything despite never opening a book or listening to a word anyone said to you are just not the same.
