Thick T-Shirts

I need to refresh my t-shirts but all the t-shirts I find are sheer and flimsy. I like them thick (that's what she said) And shopping online is iffy since you can't tell how see thru they are.

Anyone have suggestions for some good quality t-shirts from either a brick-and-mortar store or an online store?

I am interested in both graphic tee's and standard solid colors. I especially would like some white tee's that won't be totally transparent when they get a little sweaty. I like to play ultimate and basketball and we like to pair off by colors vs. whites.

I don't really like that dry-fit crap. I prefer cotton.

GF bought me a couple for christmas a few years back because I wear tshirts...constantly. They seem pretty thick when compared to a normal cotton T and they seem much softer. It also seems as though they've held up better after many washes, but that could be because my other tshirts are much older. ...and she informs me because she didn't do my laundry prior to those shirts.

But yeah, I love them so get some.

Champs Sports sells some REALLY thick plain white tee-shirts in bags of five.. I bought a couple bags for the winter months.

Extremely comfortable and a good thickness.

I like St. Johns Bay and Gap for tshirts. Both pretty thick.

For solid colored T-shirts I just go to Wal-Mart. Fruit of the Loom pocket Ts are often on sale for $4. I keep several in the car with my gym clothes and a couple at work in case I need to do something messy. They hold up very well, and at 4 bucks I'm not worried if I get bleach on them or mess them up either.
