I'm definitely one of those "fuck the new year's resolution" types, but I've been working on some shit lately so I guess I'll put it here:
- need to clean my apartment. I was a pothead for a long time and it got nasty. it's happening a little bit at a time. you wouldn't think a studio could get this bad... but oh, it can.
- speaking of pot, I'm cutting way back. I used to smoke a couple times a week and that was ok but smoking really good pot on a daily basis is a recipe for duhhhhhhsaster. slows me down too much, costs too much money, makes me not give a shit about things I should care about, etc. pot doesn't kill you like heroin or meth... but it makes it easy to be the same loser at age 45 that you were at age 25. no thanks. I've come up with a pretty awesome way of cutting back based on behavioral psychology that requires zero willpower (because I have none)... ask me if you're interested
- really working on my fire dancing. I'm practicing for an hour a day. with LED glowsticks that use rechargeable batteries, of course - using that much fuel would be obnoxiously expensive and the neighbors might not like it, plus I can't do fire indoors. bonus points: an hour per day of exercise is helping my body a lot.
- sorta looking at my diet... not quite ready to work on this yet, I know my limits and I have enough on my plate. but I'm trying to edge toward less greasy/spicy foods as my stomach ulcer begins to irritate me more and more.
