I'm getting a vita preorder, an upgrade to zelda 3ds (my mom's taking my old blue one), and probably a few other misc things i don't even want, and i specifically told my parents not to buy.

Funny you say that. I made a R.I.P. bowl post on Facebook this morning and it's gotten so many likes/comments, lol.Can I send you some bowls? Please...
Jokes on them though, gonna bring the bowl back in a few days.
I can't help but wonder if there are any actual poor people here on the forums, because it astounds me every year some of the things people get for Christmas. A car? Shit, last year I remember one guy got like $1000 in gift cards, video games, computer shit, and practically half my paycheck in loot. I'm lucky to even get $1000 worth of stuff, and I'm halfway to six figures.
My max was $300.I'm lucky to even get $1000 worth of stuff
I dunno if i can be considered poor, as my dad makes like $120k per year, but the last few years have been paycheck to paycheck, and massively behind on bills (almost had the electric shut off a few weeks ago, but my mom convinced the guy to leave with a check for $300). Go back a few years though, and my parents spent $4-6k between 4 kids.
By poor I am not talking about paycheck and living expenses cancelling each other out. I'm talking about working 2-3 jobs kind of stuff and barely hitting the middle class.
Making $120,000 a year and spending $100,000 doesn't make you poor.
Gotta have them cellphone data plans.
Now that Cream Soda, he's a poor motherfucker
I predict I'll receive the same thing I receive every year, $100.
Probably won't know for a few days, working Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
However, I do know I'm getting star wars on blue ray.

First round came early due to holiday travel - the wife & I exchanged gifts tonight.
The highlights were a low-profile 2 ton aluminum jack and jackstands, plus some miscellaneous junk I'd wanted (new cast iron pan, cast iron griddle, some books, etc.).
Going to be picking up a torque wrench for myself, probably, and a rear motor mount for my car, since the stock one is poo.
Bought my dad a laptop, that was my big gift for someone else.
I got new armani glasses last week, and got a new pair of sennheiser hd650's.
Sister got a galaxy nexus.
