My circle of friends (6 guys, counting me) started a "tradition" last year of doing Secret Santas. Set a reasonable limit (last year was 30 this year 40) and it limits the money and time you have to spend searching for gifts for everyone. Just buy the gift for the person you get and dont give away who you got. So far we've each gotten the person who got us... both times. so friend A got friend B, B got A. C got D, D got C. E got F, F got E. Both years this has happened. was pretty funny. Anyway last year I got my person a nice Swiss Army pocket knife (he was enlisting at the time, figured it might be one of the few useful things they'd let him carry but not already provide on their own) and he got me a Megablocks Halo kit, the wraith I think. We all had a laugh at that, because Megablocks aren't the same!

This year I got my person (who is a fellow Brony) a Pinkie Pie plush, a Dom Santiago vinyl figure thing (When he and I would play through, I was always Marcus, he was always Dom... and he plays as Dom in multiplayer too. He's mexican irl, you see.), and a small Dinosaur theme Lego kit. He got me a badass nerf gun and Twilight Sparkle's hot air balloon from the opening credits. It lights up and plays music, and came with Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and a telescope. I then proceeded to shoot one of the guys with the nerf gun. Right in the mouth. We laughed so hard I couldn't talk for like 5 minutes. That thing has more power than you'd expect!

Wtf is this pony shit? And why the fuck are grown men talking about it. Tyche you don't count since it's for your daughter. But Bane's post makes him sound like he's fucking twelve. Are all "bronies" like this ? Should I be worried? I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!

I had the same comments, then I just classified individuals as psychs and walked away.

Its probably better that everyone does the same.

Yes? Let me rephrase. Tyche said he picked that stuff up for his daughter, not for himself or a grown male friend. I don't understand what the appeal of this stuff is for grown men. It just seems childish. But that's my just my opinion.

Tickets and rooms for trip to Taipei in February, 3 day pass to EDC/flights/rooms in Vegas next June, and a new office chair. Treating myself this year as the rest of the family seems to be pretty broke. Got most of them prepaid visa giftcards since they all suck to shop for.

I've been wanting the 25th anni DSi XL forever now. I now have the full 25th anniversary set (including the Skyward Sword Bundle + Mario Bros 25th).
