i think we are luckier that we dont have to spend it with families/friends. im here by myself, and 3 cats. my family is back in FL, and i could NOT be happier. peace, quiet, gaming, TV, cats, eating, lifting and all the freedom i want without having to force myelf into having a convo about how hard minorities have it in life, and how easy i have it compared to my parents and older brothers and sisters. not to mention, there are only so many times i can eat curry chicken and roti without wanting to kill myself. indian food gets old fast, especially when you've been eating it for 24 years

Are you Southern or Northern Indian? I miss Indian food since I barely ever have it now. Only when I visit my parents or go to the one Indian restaurant I know around where I live.

I got a check for $200 from my dad, and nothing else, but I wasn't really expecting to get anything. I won't purchase anything for my kids since the postal system in Mexico is unreliable and I'll just buy them things when I visit in April. Simple Christmas for me.

That $200 is gonna be a new tattoo though. :D
