If you're referring to someone driving your car and getting caught like that, I've allready covered it:
1-your car was stolen...but it was not reported. Why the fuck is your stolen car NOT reported stolen? Your problem
2-you lent your car to some fuckwit who doesnt know how to drive, collect the money from them and pay the fine. If they dont want to pay the money, you're lending the car to shady people to begin with and your problems go past your speeding violation.

Maybe shits different in the states...as I said, in Quebec all camera zones are distinctly marked, so you really have to be a fucking moron to get caught in one. And as I also said, you guys are whining about 40 fucking dollars, for doing 42 in a 30 (which is roughly equivalent to 67 in a 50? Try 150 dollars for doing 65 in a 50.

A simple camera taking a photo of the person's face would clear all this nonsense up, but for some reason that's not an acceptable solution either to Maryland or posters in this thread. Someone please, please tell me why finding out who was driving is a bad thing?

What's a photo of the persons face going to prove? That you werent driving your car? How are they going to prove who was driving the car? this isnt CSI where all 7 billion faces of living people are on record, they cant really use facial recognition software. Even then...what if they're wearing a hat, sunglasses, visor's down and half their head isnt visible at a certain angle. All that may prove is you werent driving your car. Would you snitch on your friend/family member who was driving your car? Probably not, which leaves the burden on you regardless.

You're really going to make me specify how this works? How the courts should operate if they can't determine beyond a reasonable doubt who was driving? I know you're canadian but you must have some vague sense of how the legal system works.

Hint: It's the same way it works for red-light cameras where they have shots of the person's face.
