Heavensturn is a celebration that marks twelve passings of the moon in the night sky, and with them, the vigil of each of the Twelve over the realm. It is on this sacred day that one among the gods wins celestial favor, and whose aspect thus exerts the greatest influence over the fate of Eorzea throughout the coming year. Those initiated into the mysteries of the divine are of the belief that this turning will see Althyk, the Keeper, rise above his deific peers.

Innumerable malms away, in the Far East, folk observe something of a different Heavensturn. There, noble beasts take the place of the Twelve, with the dragon said to be the embodiment of Althyk. This serves to explain the large shipment of helms wrought in the creature’s likeness that has recently arrived at Black Rabbit Traders. Rumor holds that these ornate headpieces are meant as gifts to be bestowed upon those adventurers who lend their kind aid in the Winter’s Knell festival...

Really need event storage npc. I don't even bother with these quests anymore. I'm on the fence with the reindeer one though since it's so funny. Might still knock that out and suck up the -2 inv. But screw another kabuto quest. Tossed the old ones, tossed the egg hats, tossed my santa gear; just not enough room.

a belt would be cool, like if you think of the design of the peistskin hunting belt. the buckle could be the dragon head and the wings could be the part that drapes down, there are even bits that protrude for legs; wouldn't be difficult to remodel.

The event is equally a joke as the last.

• Talk to event NPC in a city.
• Talk to NPC in the nearby hamlet they direct you to.
• Check a few ??? spots in the hamlet, get cutscene.
• Talk to hamlet NPC again to get your basic dragon kabuto.
• Talk to event NPCs in all three cities to receive the three colored dragon kabutos. (Ul'dah: Gold, Gridania: Black, Limsa Lominsa: Red)

Alternate ending: Get all 4 kabutos and go to Aleport to get your "the Winter Wyrm" title.

Looks? no. Stats? Pretty much (Minus the Black/White ones)

The dragon kabutos are all Lv.1 and all have 7 defense.

Dragon Kabuto has no special stats at all.

Crimson Dragon Kabuto: Fire resistance +1, Water resistance +1
Gold Dragon Kabuto: Wind resistance +1, Ice resistance +1
Black Dragon Kabuto: Earth resistance +1, Lightning resistance +1

They are complete shit and are worthless outside of aesthetics and missable achievements/title.
