What about the saints.
when the saints won the bowl they had the ball hawkingest d of the year. short memories on these niggas. gregg williams ran an insanely blitz heavy defense with a secondary that recorded tons of interceptions (third in the league!). that D scored 8 TDs. MOST IN THE LEAGUE
judai gonna have a problem when the SB is pats/packers
Pretty good if we get a real QB in the draft. Not sure when I endorsed Rex as good though.
Pretty sure I also listed GB and NE as two of my 4 possibilities for the SB. Like I said, no good defenses in the NFC at all this year other the the 49ers and Smith is pretty trash. AFC has all the defenses but PIT is injured to all hell, Denver has lolTebow, Texans have lolInsert5thInujuredQB and I don't think the Rookie XMas connection will lead Cincy to the SB, so it's down to the Ravens and Pats. Yes, it's possible we have an all offense SB but as history shows, Defense usually wins championships. I don't think I have actually ever heard any analyst/commentator/intelligent person claim offense wins championships. The rare exception does occur though, like in 2000 when the Rams beat the Titans.
Way to attempt to deflect the argument back on me when you have nothing to rebut with, yet again.
so as i was saying earlier...heres some of the RB performances on teams with Tony G as their TE
2011: Burner: 1340yds (3rd in NFL) (Tony 5th in TE for yds)
2010: Burner: 1371yds (3rd in NFL) (Tony had 110yds more than gronk)
2007+8+9 RBs got hurt, in 07+08 Tony was 12th in the league in receiving yds
2006: LJ: 1789yds (2nd in nFL)
2005: LJ: 1750yds (3rd in NFL)
tony also is 2nd all time in receptions, most receptions by a te in a single season, all time TE TDs, and all time TE rec. yards to go along with 12 pro bowls. Most consecutive seasons with 50+ receptions, most seasons with 1000+ yds receiving by a TE, and has only missed 2 games in his career
but youre right. gronk is GOAT.
cail, you are more likely to convince me phil rivers is a competent qb than you are to change the mind of a patriots fan
remember these are the guys that literally cried and threw themselves on the ground pounding their fists and stomping their feet because both of their tight ends didnt win the popularity contest.
and here comes leroy to make everything dallas related
The year the Colts won the superbowl, they had a healthy Bob Sanders through the playoffs and one of the best pass defenses in the league. The only thing bad about their D was their run offense, but you weren't keeping up with that offense trying to pound the ball. Hell, I remember Miami, in a different season, having something like a 45 to 15 time of possession advantage and losing as Manning put up damn near 30-something points.
Was about to ask what the fuck had Witten to do in all this lol, and then Chicago happened.
