The hacker collective Anonymous posted a database Thursday it says contains hundreds of thousands of email addresses and passwords. The information belongs to anyone who ever subscribed to Austin-based global intelligence firm Stratfor's newsletters or website.
Anonymous began posting information from its hack of Stratfor on Saturday. The inital leak included 4,000 of Stratfor's customers names, addresses and passwords.
Thursday's leak is much larger. Anonymous says the database includes 860,000 usernames, emails and encrypted passwords, as well as 75,000 credit card numbers.
A KXAN analysis of the database revealed many military, law enforcement, government and elected officials' information, as well as several members of the local and national media.
