To get over this mess, I deleted the girl from my phone, FB, and never talked to her again after I finally realized what I was doing was stupid. As long as he's still around, the flirting will continue. End it or end her.

I had to make my girl do this to one of her exes as well. You can't have that gnawing "other person" hanging around, it's bad for your relationship. Even if she maintains the line that it's fine for her, it doesn't hurt her, it doesn't make her question her relationship with you - it's bad for you, it hurts you, and she needs to make that important to her as well.

With responses like this, I'm not even sure why you made a thread. We're telling you exactly what's going on, and you're finding ways to tell yourself that this isn't a problem with her. It is a problem with her. Accept that fact and either do something about it or find someone who won't have this problem. Don't waste everyone's time if you're going to play the denial game in your own thread.

I want to stress this part. too often people get the urge to blame the "intruding party" (ie. guy cheats on his girl, and the two girls end up pulling at each other's hair, when they really should have been fist punching the guy). The guy is a dick, don't get me wrong, but you aren't marrying him you're marrying her. You have to get it sorted out with HER not him, and realize that even if they are both at fault, it's her mistake you have to correct not his.

I can't say I don't trust her. I don't trust the situation, and I certainly don't trust some guy. There's something different about it that makes me incredibly uncomfortable.
