none of them stacking up to the real noisemakers this year in the underground; this is coming from an Atmosphere stan for the past decade. I skimmed Grieves, Doomtree, not a big fan tbh.

On a side note - 2 mixtapes, from T.I. and Raekwon and a Jean Grae track dropped to start the New Years off right.

edit: I was noddin with Orden's list, minus that Drake gahbage.

MY LIST WAS GOOD.

Tyven are you bumping TM103 all day errday? Fuck da city up has a few good tracks, I like the beats on most of em. I gotta pick up the Raekwon mixtape though..

This was a mediocre year for mainstream hip hop imo. A good year for the lesser knowns and up and comers, but outside of that it was mostly garbage.
