Addicting as hell, but for some reason I always feel like it's a crappy run if I don't get an awesome different tear power near the start.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
(PC/PS4/PS3/Vita)
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake of the original completely remade from scratch with expanded gameplay, playable characters, story, enemies, bosses and over 110 new items. Essentially its its a totally retooled and greatly expanded version of the game so many have come to love created in a NON-FLASH engine programmed/designed by Nicalis, Rebirth will also feature a totally new graphics overhaul rendered out in a semi 16-bit SNES style.
Nicalis and i are totally going out of our way to make sure that everyone that loved the original will be very pleased by all the new content.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth features
• Local co-op play
• Competitive Load outs: Players can do the same run for Twitch streams etc
• 50-percent Fresh new content over the original Binding of Isaac
• Steam loyalty discount for players who already own the game
• 2+ playable characters
• Tons of new challenge runs and more secret stuff we haven't fully tested so I won't mention...
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, is officially releasing early next year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam.
Early next year. The original is so addicting. Probably picking this up on the vita.
Edit: Oh god the trailer is so creepy.
Will probably upgrade on steam as well as get on PS4. Indie games are the best games I've been playing for the last year outside of a select few, so I have no money double dipping for those devs.
You know, I really need to 100% this game. The only achievements im missing are beating the caves without taking damage and 100%ing the game. I've got 217 hours put into the game and I can't wait for the update to come out.
spent $2 on the game, spent 200hours on it. I think I have no problem in saying that based on money/time/entertainment this was the single best purchase I have ever made in my life and maybe will have ever made.
And yes, I find it odd I've beaten depths and womb without taking damage yet can seemingly never clear caves without taking damage.
For those interested in following the progress of Rebirth, there was an official dev blog started a few weeks ago: http://bindingofisaac.com/
Pretty damn amazing GIF's being posted of some new tear effects.
