Clearly not. But I do see the resemblance. Von Bargen is one of "Oh yeah, it's That Guy" actors. In addition to Super Troopers, he was the commandant of Francis' military school in Malcolm in the Middle, was the sheriff in O Brother, Where art Thou?, and probably two dozen other things you've seen.

Sad. I used to watch the Monkees all the time when I was a kid. Mostly because my Stepdad knew two of the Monkees personally.

Same, and oddly enough my uncle I guess used to know one of them personally (Peter iirc). They got into some huge fight though so they had stopped talking before I even knew about the monkees. My uncle used to tell us stories about him all the time though.

My stepdad grew up with one of them, I think Peter Tork. My stepdad lived in their neighborhood and was good friends with the little brother. He said he remembers them playing music in the garage and he was the bratty kid that kept telling them they sucked. LOL
