Also, in a thread on Reddit about the decision to keep Ryan Clark out of the game in Denver, most of the top comments were about how Tomlin is such a stand-up guy and how he cares about his players' health over anything. I responded saying that was complete bullshit. He's let Roethlisberger play through injuries that, if exacerbated, could easily end his career - not just this season (though the 49ers and Browns games were notable examples of how he just should not have fucking been playing), but in general. Beyond that, he'll let Polamalu and Harrison play with concussions and let the official report say they're 'concussion-like symptoms'. This has happened at least twice this season for Troy. Got downvoted to hell, everyone thought I was stupid. WTF? If the media lets out a story about how your player lost two of his organs the last time he played in Denver, then it's a fucking no-brainer to keep him out, no matter what the doctor says. I like Tomlin, but pretending he's such a caring, safety-first coach is just laughable.

I'm sure Tomlin knows what is safe for a guy medically, he's been a doctor on House for like 7 seasons.

Steelers culture man. They can do no wrong. Letting Big Ben gut out a win on one leg is a brave decision, but holding Clark shows his compassion. Give me a break. Also the coaching staff has never come under scrutiny for the amount of penalties for illegal hits Harrison and company rack up. They're just "hard-nosed" and play with "intensity" and other such bullshit. It's amazing how a few rings can cloud people's opinions.

He just knows that Roethlisberger definitely does not have lupus.

My girlfriend's family are Steelers fans. I'm buying her 1 year old nephew as much Eagles merchandise as I possibly can the second he is old enough to have an opinion about sports.

Oh man, lol'd way too hard at this.

I find it funny that most people seem to think that most coaches really give two shits about the safety and health of the players. The vast majority wouldn't care if a player had a Theismann-esque compound fracture if they thought the medical staff could shoot it up and tape it up and send them back out there and be marginally effective.

    My most downvoted comment. Dickholes.

The best part is the Steelers fan's response. "Ben wouldn't DIE from a messed up ankle." Oh, so as long as they aren't in immediate danger of death, it's cool.

You take the Giants ground game over Atlantas? The giants have been terrible in both aspects of the ground game.

Burner tore it up against Tampa, but then again who didn't. The five games before that were pretty pedestrian. I dunno, just a gut feeling.

Whoa, Saints beating Detroit by 105 points. Hasn't Brees set enough records already?

Is Bradshaw back and healthy or not? I'll take Bradshaw+the Giants over Turner+the Falcons for running ability, but I disavow any claim to that fat fuck Brandon Jacobs.
