lol if you think hes gonna take a hometown discount in his prime. If not the lions then someone would be dumb enough to take that hit.

Noone will pay CJ 20M a year. His "unique situation" simply means he won't get franchise-tagged. He'll get a little more than Fitz's so he's the highest-paid WR, and that's it. If he's smart he won't do what Fitz did, signing a long term deal with a shitty team.

Fitz's contract is 8/120, average of 15M. And like I said, CJ will get a little more than that.

Fitz contract gets bumped up to 17 mil after next season.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/68...rs-120-million

The Arizona Cardinals signed Larry Fitzgerald to an eight-year deal that could pay the star receiver as much as $120 million, making it one of the richest deals in the NFL.

The agreement, with guarantees near $50 million, is by far the biggest in the franchise's history and could keep the star receiver with the team through the 2018 season.

The six additional years after 2012 would be worth $17 million each.

Poor jets, they release their offensive coordinator and pick up an OC that has never coached offense. His claim to fame, the offensive line, has been a train wreck despite several early round draft picks and an all world left tackle. I liked Sparano, I really did, but holy fucking hell this is strange. I'd understand if they had at least one coach capable of calling plays.

While we are sending you scraps, chad Henne for kerley or Conner.

Hence why theyre saying its a Haley/Sparano package.

And werent you the nig LOLing at my preseason Kerley-is-a-boss schtick?

[edit] and P.S. Sparano called the plays for the Cowboys in 06'. They were 5th in the league that year.

Haley has too big of an ego to work as Passing coordinator much less with Rex ryan.

Three balls thrown over 40 yards the entire season, and one of them was a wildcat. Nuff said. Dudes strength is the deep ball, and we have him running 7 yard outs all day like hes some system QB being outperformed by his backup.

    This guy.

The plays weren't called because the team's locker room was toxic .and the WRs were out of sync with the QB. Besides, if you can't complete a couple easy short yard throws then you sure as fuck can't be relied upon to nail deep shots. Exception: Tebow

The plays weren't called because the OC blows donkey. There's a reason the Jets have the most(yes, most) 4th quarter comebacks in the league over the past two seasons. Passes can actually be completed when he was forced to open it up, rather than having the defense sitting on short routes all day. Case in point:

And if hes put in a better situation next year and is still as inconsistent, he's out of excuses. Win/win.

He's not that bad! *posts a video of completely blown coverage of a team's #1 receiver 40 yards downfield with 20 seconds to go against the worst pass defense in the nfl*

Seriously, not only was calling cover 2 on that the worst thing ever, but the execution was even worse

Nig dont make it like I'm singing praises. He's been mediocre at best in the regular season in a terrible system, and will have probably have only one year to take on this 'new offense', whatever it is, and make bigger strides. Technically he's progressed every year statistically, but we're talking about pretty bad -> meh -> average here.

But there's no denying that his strength is without a doubt medium-deep, whilst being forced to dink/dunk. And step off that was a boss throw!
