sort of yes, compared to ms/nintendo/sony, one of the key factors of growth for capcom's major fighting games is people streaming their copyrighted content without license. It's something they're aware of and up til now have typically supported. The only thing I can think of is maybe they lost a bunch of money due to SF4 PC version torrenting.

when I go to the local tourney gatherings here I'm literally the only person that's both skinny and white, and I tend to finish in last place every time

A few of my friends who play fightans are white and skinny, but I don't think they compete or are that great
