You're trying to work a low-wage bullshit job in a place with very high rent. It's a bad formula. There's pizza huts everywhere.

Rent with family members, whether you have to live with them or not, never ends up working out well. Particularly with properties that your family members are trying to turn a profit from.
1) You might have to live in the sketchy part of town. Deal with it. Its not like your situation with your mother is any better.
2) If your girlfriend moves in with you into a new one bedroom, well, she might have to get a job.
3) Are you in school? Is there a community college in your area? You can also get free money from the government in the form of Pell Grants if you start taking classes. Many states will cover the cost of your classes if you are under a certain income threshold - fill out a FAFSA. If you're not considered an independent student (you live with your mom, probably not), name the parent's information on your FAFSA which makes the lesser amount of income. Some institutions will have technical as opposed to academic classes you can take as well, so you can meet people and develop a specific skillset if you're not necessarily looking for a degree. Better yet, your girlfriend can also do all this, and if she goes to school full time and gets on disability, that's more money in your pocket.
4) Craigslist. Look for rooms. Your girlfriend may need to look for other housing options if people won't rent out a room for two, but this is the cost of her being unable (or unwilling) to help support the both of you.
Free food is free food. Not gonna argue with you there. But if you're concerned about being a fatass and you want to continue enjoying your free food, think of some other options for yourself. For instance, drink less soda and drink more water. Small things a bit at a time. Being a fatass can lead to you not getting a better job than at Pizza Hut, so work on it when you can.
In times of trouble, it's best to take the most sociopathic, pragmatic course of action you can think of. That's not to say kill your mother/girlfriend, but stop fucking talking about love and see if you can get her to contribute something concrete that will benefit you directly. If after a short amount of time she cannot, throw her shit in the street because she isn't contributing. As for your mother, unraveling that ball of bitch aside, at least you have solace in the fact that that car is yours when and if you decide to *take it.* Start building contacts. Go to job fairs. Parties. Anything where there will be people and you won't have to spend money.
As someone who has fibromyalgia, and lives with two others who also have it, i can tell you right now, that may not be a viable solution. I can't speak for his girlfriend, as it does vary considerably (personally, it doesn't affect me too badly. I'm in pain 24/7, and some things are very difficult to do, but if i really try, i can do more or less anything most others can), but my mom could barely manage working as a counselor, which involves little more than sitting at a desk and talking. Regardless of how severe her case is, i'm sure there is something she could manage to do, but in this economy, those jobs are going to be scarce, and she will always be a terrible choice to hire.2) If your girlfriend moves in with you into a new one bedroom, well, she might have to get a job.
I understand that, I'm actually fine knowing he won't let me have the place knowing he wants to get it for 2x the purchase price, I'm fine with that, he says he wants to move to FL to retire, lol. And of course I'm getting all his money when he dies too. Part of why I don't want to completely jump shit, paying rent somewhere else is giving someone else money that could eventually be coming right back to me. Working with family is an investment in myself that I get back.
1) Well, I won't get murdered here >.>
3) I feel like I ruined my chance dropping out with my full scholarship, so not a fan of heading back in, also no idea what to get a degree in.
2/4) She currently is physically incapable of working because of her Fibromyalgia. Currently she's at a friends house across the state and they'll take care of her np, just sometimes buys some food (cereal/yogurt, etc.) with my money. If/when she gets disability, she'll be able to contribute money, to make the situation much easier.
Concern about being a fatass is mostly just about me being lazy. I've been slacking on water drinking and drinking more soda. Also at Pizza Hut I have myself setup to eventually become a GM, which is $50k/year, but I need to work there at least 2 years to get that, and I make more as a driver (I can make nearly 25k a year as a driver, or at least like that since I can not claim all my tips and take home extra cash) so I'm fine being a driver. I'm not huge on moving jobs because my boss is really good to me, aside from telling me to not claim anything with the company about my driving (which is for my own good as much as the companies) he's fine with me missing work and has tried to find me hours as soon as I found a method of transportation. Once I get my car back I should be back to working full-time hours as I wish it, which only one employee other than me gets.
How common is fibromyalgia? I thought it was this extremely rare thing and always wtf'd at the commercials for the meds but now we have reference to 4+ in one thread. Shit man. That sucks.
Not really the point. You can always start out small at a community college. Take an assessment, get placed in math, then take that class, and take your English class. That's all you need to do to get started and that's half-time in one semester. Again, you don't necessarily have to shoot for a degree either - look up to see if your local institution has technical options - auto shop or electrical for instance.
Physically incapable of what kind of work, exactly? Standing up for six hours a day flipping burgers I can understand. What about answering phones, filing paperwork or data entry? You're not going to tell me she can't be on a computer at all, are you? A good start for her could be, besides the school thing (which accommodates for disabilities), would be to look at one of the local employment agencies to see if they can set her up with something that can accommodate her disability.
Your boss is shady as shit if you were on the job and got into a car accident and your boss told you not to claim with the company. You're also operating under the assumption that you'll become a GM after two years of work but that's entirely contingent upon whether or not your boss (who is your GM) quits or gets fired from his job in the first place, which could take ten for all you know.
Better to keep your options open. Work on the fatass thing, bookmark Craigslist job and housing pages and make them your friend for the next few weeks.
So, can your girlfriend still put out?
lol put out
all she has to do is lie there and get fatted on

My mom has fibromyalgia.
fibromyalgia, not trying to troll or anything, and im sure this is gojng to offend some folks, but that sound like the biggest bullshit disease ever.
Many fibro patients are misdiagnosed with chronic pain diseases, which generally just involve prescribing lots of painkillers; fibro is an issue of tissue damage and usually requires therapy and dietary conditioning to have any chance at decent recovery.
So yeah, it's not surprising that some of you have never heard of it, because it gets misdiagnosed a lot. Only in the last 5 years or so have doctors really clued in and started trying to distinguish between the two. It's hard to do because the symptoms manifest themselves differently in each patient, and every one responds differently to treatment.
My mom and sister both have it, as do about a half dozen other people I know. Each of them has some unique quirks as to how they have to manage it (my mom, for example, can't ingest any pork or fungus or it causes her symptoms to flare up). The common thread between them though is that it just drains your strength and leaves you in pain all t he time.
I would hardly call someone with fibro an invalid though. If they are in severe pain, then they need to learn to manage their lifestyle better and odds are good they'll find they have a lot more capability than they think. Acknowledging that you will always be in some level of pain helps with the will to carry on too, as even with meds and proper management it never really goes away.
Take it easy hey, fibro does sound like bullshit, it manifests in so many different ways, has no treatments that work across the board, has an undetermined cause, its sufferers don't have outward symptoms, and it isn't fully understood.
If i was going to make up a bullshit disease, id give it those characteristics.
