a little too short to get caught on the hook, which is probably a good thing.

i don't think the UI is bad but it'll be a little clunky for me until i get used to the controls

how to make the game harder:

Hi guys,

I'm new here but I've been lurking these forums for a few weeks now. I've discovered how to change the difficulty and want to share with everyone!

Just go to the XCOM demo steam install folder (\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown-Demo\Engine\Config).

And then open "BaseGame.ini" with notepad, edit the line "GameDifficulty=+0.0" change this to "GameDifficulty=+3.0"

I believe 3.0 is classic mode. I actually failed the mission by getting my squad all killed!

Note: You must edit the ini file in the steam install folder and not the one in my documents folder, otherwise it will not work.

Hoping someone finds a way to skip the first tutorial mission!

Can't wait for the full game to come out oOMMGGGG!!! Have fun guys!

I wonder, if 3.0 is not impossible.
0.0 easy
1.0 normal
2.0 classic
3.0 impossible

Also if you do:

I just found if u rename or change Act2_Bar_script.upk to Act2_Pier_script.upk, you will start the second mision without tutorial and with more sectoids , like 4 or 5 more.

You skip the script part of mission 2 and there's about 6 extra aliens of whatever you choose lol.

Shit was pretty crazy. He brought 2 Sqaudies 2 Snipers 1 Assault 1 Support.

He got through HALF the base and ran into:

6 Crysallids(1 Zombie from the initial rush)
9 Mutons
2 Berserkers

Groups broke up into:

3 Crysallids(Zombie)
2 Mutons
3 Mutons
3 Crysallids
Then he found 2 groups at the same time:

2 Mutons
1 Berserker in each group.
