Wish it was more of a guy name tho, then it'd be perfect! Otherwise go with Tnuc. Or Hctib, Tuls, Erohw. Ugh they all suck

it would make a great girl's name tho
Has anyone said Ira? I like the name Ira.
Jaden.
Von Gustaf Evans
Yay or Nay?
Other names we are considering are:
Cyrus Gustaf Evans
Zander Gustaf Evans
Gustaf is a family name, both of my wifes gradfathers are Gustaf so I think we are going to stick with that. If you guys met a kid or a person named Zander would you assume his name was Alexander?
if you're sticking with gustaf, for sure keep it as a middle name...
I like zander over cyrus if I had to pick one. Don't like Von at all.
Both my wife and I really like Zander too but we don't really like Alex or Alexander and we were cautious about the fact that a lot of people would think his name was Alexander if he said Zander, but maybe that is an unfounded concern.
I think we are pretty set on the middle name for the record so we need a first name that goes well with it and our last name.
what the hell, gustaf is a great first or any -name and zander sounds like he spends his weekends fighting crime on mars. Von as a first name would not so much merit a fellow classmate beating him up as their parents leaving work and interrupting class to beat him up.
I'd think pretty much anyone would assume Zander was short for Alexander (it isn't traditionally used as a different name). I've known two Alexanders that went by Zander.
Why not name him Alexander? It's not a bad name. He could go by Lex, Zander, Al, or whatever if you don't like calling him Alex/Alexander.
If you change Zander to Zandir but pronounce it the same, people won't think it comes from Alexander. That little "i" would make a lot of difference. At least I think it would.
Xanadu
Xenu.
Some more ideas I thought I would run past everyone here. (You guys are really great for testing names on since everyone picks them apart so quickly)
Drake Gustaf Evans
Corvus Gustaf Evans
Corbin Gustaf Evans
Bruce Gustaf Evans sounds awesome, in my opinion.
Drake Gustaf Evans - No. doesn't sound right.
Corvus Gustaf Evans - Maybe a little too weird?
Corbin Gustaf Evans - I like Corbin. All I think of is the Fifth element though.
For reference.
I really like Byrth's idea with Bruce. Rolls nicely.
I dunno, I feel a strong pull towards wanting this kiddo to be some sort of space pirate. Also, Bruce is too much of a neckbeard name to gamble on him being a Willis or Campbell.
Henry Gustaf Evans really isn't setting off any alarms? God that sounds awesome, I would not be surprised if he picked a fight with the doctor on day 1.
Roland Deschain Duff.
Well I am hoping that by the time he is an adult regular space travel is a reality so maybe he will be a space pirate... Henry doesn't sound too bad but I know my wife won't go for it because she doesn't want a name that is too common or ordinary. Yeah I know everyone says the same thing but we want uncommon but not goofy/rare enough to be made fun of.
What's wrong with having an ordinary name? I've never personally met anyone else with my douchezilla name (Brett), but I consider it pretty ordinary. Never met anyone named Henry either. You don't have to have a crazy space pirate name to not be another "John" or "Mike."
Just don't name him Camden.
Honestly I told myself when I was young that I would try not to date guys with boring Bible names. I subsequently dated a Chris, a Mike and a Matt. Well there was a Derrick thrown in there in the middle but he was a douchebag. Either way I'm not really attracted to boring usual names, and people with somewhat different names stand out more, which can sometimes be a good thing (like when you're a customer, it's easier to build up a rapport with the people helping you if your name is distinctive).
I still like Sky for a girl. Is that too hippie?
I think it's pretty, short and sweet. Different, but not so different that it's retarded (imo). I'd have to get married before I named a kid that though, no kid should go through life named Sky Buzzard.
