What's wrong with having an ordinary name? I've never personally met anyone else with my douchezilla name (Brett), but I consider it pretty ordinary. Never met anyone named Henry either. You don't have to have a crazy space pirate name to not be another "John" or "Mike."

Just don't name him Camden.

Nothing wrong with ordinary names at all. Nothing wrong with crazy space pirate names either (within reason) everyone has different taste in names for the kids just like some people like vanilla icecream and others like schwedy balls.

Honestly I told myself when I was young that I would try not to date guys with boring Bible names. I subsequently dated a Chris, a Mike and a Matt. Well there was a Derrick thrown in there in the middle but he was a douchebag. Either way I'm not really attracted to boring usual names, and people with somewhat different names stand out more, which can sometimes be a good thing (like when you're a customer, it's easier to build up a rapport with the people helping you if your name is distinctive).

I still like Sky for a girl. Is that too hippie?
I think it's pretty, short and sweet. Different, but not so different that it's retarded (imo). I'd have to get married before I named a kid that though, no kid should go through life named Sky Buzzard.
