I actually just got back to college so I cannot tell you how I modified that one. I didn't check the forums last night because I was packing, sorry! If you mess with the picture presets, "Normal" mode gets it pretty close to where I had it and you can fine tune it better from that preset. Also, there are more options that appear when you connect an HDMI to a console (at least a PS3). And I know what you mean about the auto motion thing being addicting. Arkham City with that thing on is so damn good. Also, auto motion settings I think I had like 7-8 judder reduction and 0-2 blur reduction. I watched Kung Fu Panda 2 with those settings, and, damn, animated movies look good on that thing.

EDIT: Damn, if you would've went to Best Buy a couple days after Christmas/checked online, you could've gotten the 55" for $1678. It was a steal.

You know, it's funny. After checking Amazon today I was kicking myself. the 46" was $1200 for the 7K series, which is $400 cheaper than I paid (pre tax) post tax is like $550 extra.

Thank goodness I kept the box. So a little more fiddling around on Amazon today, I found this! http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN55D8...6429711&sr=8-1

But in the 46 inch. Same base price, $1600, $3.99 next day delivery (LOL, coming tomorrow!) and NO TAX! Saved about $350. I returned the old TV to Best Buy along with the 3D glasses. Kept the Blu Ray player (cost wasn't much difference) And the new TV comes with 2 pair of $75 glasses.

So for the 8k series which is ranked higher by everyone, including CNET, I save almost $300 total including bonuses. Pretty awesome!

I suppose I could have saved $650 by keeping the 7k, but I figured $350 is good enough and went with the 8k :D Can't wait til tomorrow!

Very nice. I can't remember what the difference is between the 8000 and 7000. Both will blow your face off with the amazing picture, I'm sure.
