On the other hand, if you time well your maneuvers, you can force it to change forms at low % after it used a TP move to kill it with one final WS. Mage form is reaaaaaaally squishy, I think I did about 10% HP (or more? don't remember well) with just one Stringing Pummel on the mage form. The safest form to fight it is Valoredge (misses a lot and doesn't do much damage), but that one takes very reduced damage. It's very safe, but slow and boring.

As far as ana goes. You don't even really need a mage. Can just dia during charm. Hell I solo'd it at 75 with rng lol. Thing spends rediculous amounts of time trying to do songs

    dragonkin works for bst pets?

anywayz, just soloed khromasoul and nosferatu on BST. with falcor on both.

khromasoul is the harder one. he starts to pop adds like immediately, so it may not give u any time to sic the pet before the adds attack you. you'll need a quick aoe hate-grab so you can snarl it to the pet. boss and adds hit fairly hard, especially the hammer guys. i fought at pop spot (killed the monk b4 pop) and remained mainly in pdt gear.
after the first 2 adds, it became necessary to reward regularly. i was using thetas or etas depending on how much dmg was done when reward was available... but i was also playing it safe.

hammers are annoying cos they can distract the pet from the boss for a few moments - they hit hard enough. monk repopped on me and linked but was no issue except when it did rock smash and petrified. not sure if relic reward helps but i tried that and it wore off at that point lol so idk. fight took about 20min. i familiared as well. never needed to use mulsum.

Nosferatu is a joke. clear the fleas before you pop, btw. threw falcor on, stood by the slope. he's very squishy, to be honest. coulda killed faster if i had decent pet dd gear. 12%haste tho. by 4 minutes it was already 50%, so i used run wild and finished it off in <8min. didn't even use reward once. never saw gaze doom tp move.

Did Cheese -> Iriz, obviously easy, fights were under 1m

Didn't need to do Dea, but did Armed Gears and Gotoh Zah. Gotah Zah took ~3m to kill, Armed Gears I estimate would have taken 25m just beating on it with a Vere MNK. I estimate because I had someone with a 75cap geared BLM come nuke it for me. I had it at 49% in ~13m before I had help.

Did Chigre -> Verdelet, same story as the other T1-T2

Decided to switch it up and went Brochain for EL, Nuhn, and Mahjleaf. EL and Nuhn were laughably easy, but the adds from EL randomly went after my WHM. After the fight I realized he'd been asleep for 2m. Nuhn barely breaks stoneskin from AF3+2 body, no stoneskin hits were ~10dmg. Hardest part about Mahjleaf was doing no damage w/shields and popping it lol.

Edit: You can just use Atonement/AE to drop his shields

How did you make deathgnash do so little damage that it barely broke stoneskin? Deathgnash dealt a large percentage of damage to my pet each time, even with PDT gear. Although when it deathgnashed again before I had a chance to reward, the damage was much smaller, so it seems it's just a percentage of HP (of which my pet has a lot).

As for Achamoth and Nosferatu, I did those earlier and they were fairly easy. Achamoth I didn't even have to use Reward, just let my pet and Achamoth go 1 on 1. I could have afk'd during the whole thing and still won. Nosferatu, I had to pay a little more attention. It was still easy, but my pet came back to me once after having taken a swing at his summoned pet then losing target when they vanished. So I had to re-Fight on Nosferatu. I used Heel once to avoid Eternal Damnation, which had no effect. Other than that, I just stood back and let them go at it. Dread Spikes was annoying, and the only time I had to Reward, but all it did was prolong the fight a little.

Now for Khromasoul and Armed Gears for my set. I'm worried most about Armed Gears on BST, considering his resistances.

As for my T1-T2 paths, I did Vulpangue -> Iriz Ima, Velionis -> Wulgaru, and Ob -> Dextrose.

Deathgnash is a critical HP move, that one still did damage though w/PDT gear it only does ~45% to me. It's also a hate reset, just like CC. Gnash would sometimes hit for 0, sometimes hit for ~700. Seismic Tail almost always hit for 0 or was evaded.

I think for Nosferatu and Acamoth I will go SAM and try to zerg it with Sekka/Konzai, Khromasouls the only one that somewhat worries me but if it's anything like EL it shouldn't be a problem on PLD.

Brass Borer -> Anantaboga (MNK WHM THF)

Pretty easy, Virelei gets resisted most of the time, though I did have to kite around a bit one of the fights.

Nosferatu didn't charm, tried to zerg on SAM but my WHM was out of range for AF; THF easily held/killed it (and my THF mule isn't great/doesn't have gear macros for WS). Acamoth was easily supertanked on SAM/zerged down, though having an Amano didn't really help make it go faster, ended up 2h'ing just to not waste time having it exuviation for 10k any more. Khromosoul, got back on PLD. This got hairy, especially with the pull (Which lets be honest, I didn't do legit). I took it to the nearby gate. He doesn't do a bunch of damage really, though my WHM ran out of MP+Convert. I took my other mule NIN, which was a big help killing any adds and eventually the minions that went after the WHM (Again, wonky hate just like on EL). I kited it for a bit to get some MP back when it was at ~20%, then once adds were dead/had some MP, brought it back and killed it. Easily the hardest of all the T3.

Armed gears gets *significantly* weaker below ~50% - if it took you 13mins to get it to 50, at worst it'd be dead by 18. Soon as the first gear "dies" in the model, damage reduction more or less vanishes until it uses heavy armor or w/e and gets 25 shadows/phalanx/stoneskin/etc

Edit: For Khromasoul, if you damage it fast enough adds will just depop without doing anything. Believe it's every 15% or so? Might've been better off with 2x DD and blasting it down, esp if the one with hate has some defensive capability (not counterstance, the hammer adds would do too much on WS likely, but thirdeye, evasion, shadows) to live through a couple hits.

Bump! Looking to finish my mythic around December and trying to get an idea what I'll need for T3/T4 ZNMs. I think leveling BST seems kind of silly now with SoA gear. I've got 3 characters at my disposal and can tribox ok-ish. I can make character #1 actually log in if something requires more coordination.

    Characters:
    1. MNK (Oats, well geared), COR
    2. BRD (99R/E), WHM, MNK (Oats, mostly geared)
    3. Empy-geared WHM BLM THF

So far for T1s it hasn't mattered what I brought as Oats have eaten through them really quickly and T2s don't sound bad at all. Some questions ahead:

Khromasoul Bhurborlor - How do the adds work and how is the hate? Are people pulling it away just because it spawns in the middle of troll pops?
Experimental Lamia - Are her adds really anything to worry about now? Do they stay on the person who has hate when they pop?
Mahjlaef the Paintorn - If I plan to bring character #1 MNK, would /RUN be a good idea for breaking the shield or would it be easier to bring #3 BLM, even if he's semi-gimpy?

For T4s I'm thinking of doing MNK BRD WHM. Cerb and Khim should be easy, but I have the least experience killing Hydras. Anything I should do or watch out for? If you kill him too fast are you just wasting your time since you have to wait for heads to regrow?

Last time I killed khroma, I just let the adds hit me and killed it no problem with MNK+WHM(Pre delve). Lamia adds can be ignored if you like, I always killed them because I didn't want any distractions getting me charmed. Soulflayer will probably die before it can do 2 shields, but /run and whm nukes would be plenty to knock it off after formless gets dispelled.

For Khroma, do the adds pop as soon as you pop him? That is, if I popped with characters 2/3 would they be on that character? Or would I have enough time to voke/attack on the MNK and get hate before they pop?

I'm doing 3x of every NM to have some pops ready for the Tinnin trial and PW.

They pop as soon as you pop him, but they depop based on HP% and repop as such. The only ones that are a minor threat are the hammer wielders with aoe petrify, so need to position properly.
