If you have yet to experience the joy of utilizing additional devices in the bedroom, I feel bad for you.
Someone who's comfortable enough with their sexuality to talk about such things deserves commendation. It isn't as if this is the wrong thread for it.
EDIT: I realize that this usage didn't happen "in the bedroom," but hey, you don't always need a bed.
Has anyone suggested kidnapping yet?
I had a friend with similar issues, and insurance picked up 90% of the IVF tab. I assume you checked that route??
Otherwise, the obvious solution is to just let somebody on BG knock your wife up. You post pictures, and we'll all put our names in a hat. Then you just pull out the winner. It would be win/win!
hahahahaha somehow I can't imagine that going over very well with his wife.
In conclusion: always keep good porn on your phone and always carry your phone.
Sorry for lack of responses, was dealing with work issues. Nice title change lol.
Ok caught up.
We have checked into that route. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover it. Neither does the wife's. We're going to try to do a few rounds of the turkey baster and then pretty much stop trying. If it happens it will happen. At the time I wrote the story it was just getting to me a lot more than usual. We have friends who have been trying for eight years now with no luck. He had the same issues that I do but his wife also has erratic ovulation periods. They are trying invitro once and if it doesn't take going on vacation to Europe lol.I had a friend with similar issues, and insurance picked up 90% of the IVF tab. I assume you checked that route??
Ok look, since nobody else will be the voice of reason, I will.
Spoilerd for a Fhqwghads child-hating tirade:
Spoiler: show
I think people jump the gun on this a little too quickly trying to throw money at medical companies to come up with some miracle. How long have you been trying to do this? Was it like, a big deal when you started? You might be partly psyching yourself out. Just try to relax.
It is scientifically proven that 97% of babies come from not trying to have babies.
The other 3% come from Michelle Duggar's hallway.
We've been trying over a year now. Normally this wouldn't be a huge cause for alarm Seraph. But the problem is that my wife sooner, rather than later, will need to have surgery to remove precancerous cells from her uterus. After that happens it weakens the uterus walls which makes it very difficult for her to carry a child to term. It's not impossible. But the likelihood of a miscarriage is very high. The longer we wait the more we're risking her future health.
A good friend of my wife's has had very similar problems to your wife. Also needed that exact surgery at some point in her future, and still does. Doctor's even told her there was less than a 10% chance of ever getting pregnant because of her specifics... she's sitting on bed rest right now, pregnant with twin girls. She went into premature labor a few weeks ago, and although they closed her cervix up with medications, the contractions have not stopped... so she has pretty much been in labor for several weeks and she's got maybe 3 months left in the pregnancy? I didn't even know that could happen. My wife went and visited her the other day, and all she said when I asked how she was doing was, "she looks rough."
So... sometimes you never know. The best kicks in the nuts are always right around the corner when you start trying to have kids.
