Last time I played the game, the only thing rogues brought to the table in parties was high damage output and they did it well if the person knew how to play. Nothing could beat rogues except good mages. But I haven't raided in Cataclysm once so who knows what crazy things are going on nowadays!

I'm on a different server. Hope you enjoy it. Don't rush to endgame, as leveling and exploring is the best part of WoW, in my opinion.

I've never done wow end game, my druid was 60 but I did love playing it
it was still a novelty to me to change into different things and run fast or swim etc and I don't know that I'll ever do end game stuff on a serious level other than maybe collect rare mounts and try to learn to PVP properly (I am soooo bad)

Actually if you're hell bent on leveling on Dragonsblight i'll come reroll. I ain't got shit to do.

Rogue is not like a Hunter. It's like a THF in FFXI. You can do reasonably high levels of damage, but never more than true heavy DDs. There's various means of debuffing the enemy that you have access to, as well. You can also sneak around dungeons by using an ability that's the equivalent of FFXI's Invisible (or Hide, if you will, though it's really more like Invisible, since it lasts).

You must be high, or never played with good rogues.

More people need to do endgame gnome rogues. I see them all the time while leveling in BGs, but once I get to cap/endgame (I play off and on, not playing atm) they disappear off the face of the planet.

When played correctly, it's damn hard to stop a geared rogue from running away with a parse. I haven't played in almost 2 months due to being at sea for 4 weeks, then coming back for holidays, and I jumped into a Looking for Raid Dragon Soul and dropped 42k on a boss where the only thing that beat me was a hunter that was rocking heroic DS gear. All it takes is know how, and the want to do better than the other pieces of shit rogues.

I've noticed 2 days ago that I could reactivate my ages old WoTLK account to try out Cata so I did, but because that shit won't allow you to level past 80 my Cow Druid had to be ignored and I created a Goblin Hunter, it's a ton of fun pew pewing with my crabby companion.
