1st one is showing Sif and Vollstagg going to the Collector (played by Benicio Del Toro, who will be a character in GotG), and giving him the Aether/Power Gem, since they want to keep them seperated as Asgard is already holding one of them. After they walk off the Collector says "1 down, 5 to go."

2nd scene is Thor returning to Earth, getting all lovey with Jane. It then shows the big monster thing from Jotunheim running around the shipping area at night, and fades to black)

I feel the Infinity Gauntlet in the first Thor was just a nice shout out to comic fans, and definitely before they planned to use it. Something we should just ignore, kinda like Cap's shield being in the background of Iron Man 1.

You guys are cray, this movie suffered so much from a terrible antagonist. Everything not bad guy related was great, like most marvel movies, but the actual plot? Holy shit terribly boring.

though. If you want a movie you can turn your brain off and listen to funny banter, then by all means. But for that you might as well save the money and wait for Netflix. IM3 left a bitter taste in my mouth and so did this, and I'm getting the feeling all phase 3 movies are gonna be more of the same until the collaboration movies come out.

Just got back from seeing it, it was amazing. Way way better than Iron Man 3. This is probably the best solo hero film since The Incredible Hulk or Iron Man 1. Post credits scene had me too geeked up! I need to go read up on some comic stuff now!

I have a question though.

How did the Aether get converted to the power gem? It was manifested as a liquid throughout the entire movie.

Just got back from seeing it, it was amazing. Way way better than Iron Man 3. This is probably the best solo hero film since The Incredible Hulk or Iron Man 1. Post credits scene had me too geeked up! I need to go read up on some comic stuff now!

I think in this case stone is just a name. The thing you see the Collector holding is just a miniature version of the container Malekith built. The Aether itself hasn't changed.

That was a good time, the theater had a live environment. Everyone was really into it, laughing, clapping and all that good shit. Received a solid applause at the end as well. I was right there with em, great movie.

I felt like its main selling point was a love story, one that was never taken advantage of cause they were too busy trying to make funnies and keep Loki relevant for some reason. At least Thor 1 was fun because Loki is fun, but the dude wasn't the focus of this movie not to mention he's already been the antagonist for two marvel movies, its time to put him aside and get some real enemies in these movies.

Fantastic movie. Good ending although the fight wasn't as climactic as one would hope it definitely was miles above im3. LOVED the youknowwho reference in the movie.
