It's a pretty decent kettle! It needs more glowing bits though. Some kettles have space age LEDs and everything.

oven kettle does this. oven kettle makes iced tea cuz we keep that shit in a jug at home. takes too long to boil water in that shit when i want one cup of hot tea

Technically, I guess I have an "electric kettle" because that thing makes hot tea that pours into the jar full of ice so I could just not put ice in there. But I don't even think I've had any hot tea since owning it.

Where I live it was 80 degrees this weekend, so the desire for hot tea isn't as big as it was when I used to live in CT forever ago.

Though whenever I go to a chinese restaurant I have to have hot tea with my food.

ehh not really for me, I don't even drink hot coffee just iced. I guess I'm just not a fan of hot drinks in general, though I do enjoy hot chocolate now and then (but only when it's cold outside lol)
